ABOUT MECHANICIQ

MechanicIQ (mechaniciq.ca) is a Canadian directory of approved auto mechanic shops. Drivers search by city or postal code to compare oil changes, brake service, tire service, hours, amenities, and Google ratings. Shop-submitted prices are listed when a shop provides them.

We list shops that have passed MechanicIQ approval. Listings are free for auto shops. Premium placement is available as a paid option and appears higher in local search results. Rankings also consider listing completeness (priced services and hours) and distance from the search location.

MechanicIQ is built for Canadian drivers and independent shops. Coverage is Canada-wide as shops are added and approved. Ratings shown on listings come from Google when a matching Google Place is linked.

For auto service shops, registration is free. After review, shops appear in local search and can update contact details, hours, amenities, and service prices from their dashboard.
